    Is boxing for me?

I just want to say first off that I'm sorry if this isn't the correct place to post.

So I'm a 16 year old dude who wants to get into a fighting sport. I did martial arts when I was younger but all I really know from that is how to throw a proper punch (or so I think). With stuff I do I like to be competitive about it, so I'm not interested really in self defense (although I'm sure that will come along with it) or health, more so I'm interested in the competition aspect and being able to spar and stuff. But I'm not sure if boxing is for me.

The reason I'm questioning is because I feel like with how my body is I would be more suited for Muay Thai or MMA. This is because first off I'm pretty short, I'm 5'6, and my doctor told me I'm probably going to end up only at 5'8. Also, most of my weight is in my legs (I weigh 135 lbs), I've for my whole life played very competitive high level soccer, so my legs are huge, where as my upperbody is lacking. So I'm just wondering if maybe I should go into MMA or muay Thai or something instead of boxing due to my body dimensions. Either way I don't really care, I just want to do something competitive. Thank you!

              N.E Syndrome?

My arms are pretty short though, like probably around average for someone who's 5'6.
