The referee was disgustingly biased against Fonfara. Early in the fight, he got way too involved, disrupted the action frequently and admonished Fonfara for 'non penalties.'

At the least the judges were scoring the fight correctly up to the stoppage

I really liked chavez jr and had followed him since he turned pro.. But since the serg fight, he has really turned me off with his antics...

You knew chavez was destined to get beat down especially when he doesn't possess a huge size advantage..

I actually thought chavez would at least get beaten down by a froch, ggg, adonis, etc..


Kid needs to be at 168... Some fun matchups vs groves, dirrell, etc

I think chavez vs bika is a logical fight to make next imo

You know the great thing about it is that Chavez Jr next fight will be on t.v and probably the main event too.While Fonfara next might not be on t.v.So many people hate on Chavez,but the fact is if that you were in his position.You'd do the same thing.

i used to be a fan of the guy when he first started out but watching his whiny, complaining diva ass get worked and outgunned by Fonfara was VERY enjoyable..


and to listen to his post-fight interview made it even more pleasing

Listen, i love to watch Chavez SR, but Jr had this coming. As soon as he started complaining at the ref for every little thing that didn't go his way, that did it for me, wanted to see him loose. Ko lost was the icing on the cake,

Jr just looked terrible, no defense, his feet were all over the place. Goosen is good trainer, but not what Chavez needed.

Just because you have a chin, Does not excuse you from working on your defense, hope he learns from this, or it's going to be a hard career.
