I was rooting for him to succeed. After that interview all I can do is make fun of him. He's bat****.

He left him to get trained by 4 random dudes in Puerto Rico. They probably aren't random and the guy working his corner was some kind of Olympian.

Also you only need to watch the last minute or so of that fight.

Something tells me Chavez sr. is not taking Junior's calls this morning.

i was glad it ended the way it did..especially after the ref made that bull**** call and took a point away from Fonfara..you knew they were out to screw him

Very much. His diva ass has no respect for the sport and needed to get beat down.

I loved it, it's a shame that this guy even became a factor in boxing, he is nothing but a whiny spoiled baby. He is the shame of Mexican boxing(between him and Leo Santa Cruz), and his humiliation satisfied me greatly. I remember a good three years ago, some of my friends ragged on me for not supporting a fellow Mexican but I knew what he was when I saw how he "prepared" for Martinez; skipping training, working out in his living room, and the funniest part was him saying he knew what he was doing because he worked to get to that level.

Yesterday he finally faced someone his own size who he couldn't' bully and how did he respond? Whining to the ref(who was completely bought off too), showboating while getting his ass kicked, and then finally quitting after the FIRST knockdown of his career. He then says that Fonfora was too big(the irony lol), and he wants to fight him at 170, wtf does he think boxing is, a game where he can quit and then lower the difficulty level? **** him and anyone that defends him.

Last night also confirmed my belief that he never had a great chin(it's not bad but by no means great), but simply was too big to be hurt by the small guys he faced.

The only thing with that fight was, before the end and a few points throughout the fight (like the end of the 4th when he had Dulorme totally cornered at the end of the round) it was like he was ****ing around.

That is both impressive because Dulorme isn't that bad but what took so long that fight was in his hands and he was bull****ting (specifically in the 5th because I though that was when he would take him but he took the round off).

Still though he is the efficient doesn't waste anything, and his ability to turn on his offense at a moments notice to make a guy pay is very impressive. I think he can get hit at times, but he does not make any huge obvious openings.

I enjoyed watching him come forward get peppered with combinations and frustrated at what a fool he looked like. I would like to see him against top LHWs or at least guys who hit very hard.
