I need to see him in the ring with someone he can chase. Lucas looks best against guys he gets to chase down and he hasn't fought someone like that since Garcia. It's been all guys who come at him. He can beat those guys, but he'll never look comfortable or his best.

Let's not forget about Ruslan. He got beat tonight, but what ****ing heart and chin. He owes no apologies.

Lucas is one of the hardest punchers in the sport, and his strategy was not to exchange like a madman because Ruslan is, as he put it, a Rock. Incredible chin and will. Just not as good as Lucas Matthyssee.

So, props to both.

we all knew matthysse was the better boxer and more power, but ruslan proved who had the biggest heart, chin (ruslan hurt lucas more than lucas hurt him) and warrior hero spirit. ruslan is a real life rocky.

but truly both guys deserve respect. great fight!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
