When the ref took the point deduction from Fonfora i thought...aww shit...this is how they are going to save JR...they will DQ Fonfora.

Chavez quits on the stool and then wants a rematch. Quitting on the stool was the only intelligent thing he did during the fight...the guy has to be the ******est fighter I've ever seen.

I really like Fonfara and think he's a very good fighter, but this was a dumb move by Haymon.

Chavez jr actually started to believe he was a good fighter is what did him in. The chin was exceptional at 160 but his punch was never great even there, at 175 his chin would be good but his punch would below average. He couldn't even stop Brian Vera.

Chavez defense finally caught up with him, he was used to not moving his head since he thought he couldn't be hurt.
This is not Haymon's fault. Chavez Jr. was too lazy and undisciplined to make 160. Haymon matched him with a decent, not great, opponent that he and/or Chavez thought Chavez could beat. It is not Haymon's fault that Chavez is so overated.

Bob Arum must be laughing his ass off right now!!!!!!

Froch should arrange a fight with Fonfara at 170.

Cool, maybe now people will give the proper attention and respect to actual good mexican/mexican-american fighters.

The less of these hypejobs in the sport, the better...

Doubt it. Now they'll pretend Brandon Rios = Mexican Boxing.
