Why did GYM ask for a pursebid in april when the fight was not meant to take place before late this year and both fighters are slated for interim fights? It seems to make more sense to have the bid after their interim fights.

The same reason Main Events requested mandatory status when they knew they had fights lined up. And either way, that wasn't an issue. The WBC fixed that problem right away.

Seems as if she pulled out for 2 reasons.

1. She doesn't have the $ to compete in a purse bid with Haymon.

2. Kovalev is contracted to HBO while Stevenson isn't contractually locked down to any network although we all know that Haymon isn't let him fight on HBO. She's saying that it has to happen on HBO or it cant happen.
