Cotto will fight one of them for sure.

Which one is still up in the air right now.

Probably the one that Roach can gameplan better for, so it's going to be Canelo.

Cotto is stuck between a rock and a hard place: 160 and 154.

Couldn't have said it better myself. To be fair, fighting Canelo might be the bigger payday, not sure. Still without a doubt ducking GGG.

Where the *** have you fans been, this is a older cotto that is on the downside of his career. What he does now won't have any effect on his legacy because for those that remember prime cotto, that man was fighting who ever arum was putting in front of him. Maybe that is why i give cotto a pass is because i watched his entire career and i remember prime cotto and him paying his dues in this sport. New boxing fans want ggg and canelo to get a shortcut to the top simply because they like those fighters. It doesn't work like that, you have to find your own way to the top and the ones that do get the shortcut to the top like broner and canelo they usually end up getting exposed for not being deserving or ready

getting a shot a cotto is a ***ing honor for canelo and ggg it is not a requirement for cotto

Now, FEELING the punches, has NOTHING to do with the damage said punches actually cause.

You don't have to FEEL a punch when it breaks your nose causing you to drink your own blood for 9 rounds. The damage is still done.

The commentators DID notice that Margarito's punches were NOT making the same sound nor having the same affect on Cotto in the rematch.

    I recall that distinctly.

Cotto really has no business at 160, it's a recipe for disaster pursuing middle weight title defenses for him. Having every defense at a catch-weight isn't a great look either, but I do still want to see these fights.

Canelo makes sense since Alvarez himself isn't exactly chomping at the bit to fight at 160.

Golovkin would be disastrous for Cotto. At this stage in his career I don't begrudge Miguel for avoiding that fight. I can picture GGG KOing and beating up guys at 168.

Like they say; the very good big fighter beats the very good small fighter 9/10 times.

Canelo and Cotto is a classic match up of youth and hunger vs. veteran experience. It's also probably the biggest fight out there that isn't Mayweather vs. Pacquiao.

Similarly, Cotto never made excuses for his loss to Margarito. He said he got tired after 6-7 rounds, and Margarito took advantage. He speculated that margarito may have used illegal handwraps, but he also admitted after the second fight that margarito's punches felt the same.
That's what cotto said at first but years later after the first fight was over and the rematch was in the making, cotto switched up and said the first fight has a question mark on it because of the hand wrap thing.
