Cotto worked his ass off to get to this point in his career to the point in which he really don't need anybody to make money. He can fight somebody off this forum and sell out Barclay or MSG. He really don't have to fight GGG or Canelo because neither bring anything to the table for Cotto

I respect that opinion. But if that rule would be implemented then its my opinion that same day weigh ins should be reintroduced. Because using our logic a fighter should weight 160 when fighting for a championship at middleweight. Not 175-180 like GGG etc does. Cotto is wanting a catch weight to protect him self from exactly that.

total bs. A catch weight is designed to dry a guy out in training camp in order to weaken him during the fight. If being 175 on fight night is what Cotto was worried about, then he would have a rehydration limit, not a catch weight.

Yes I would watch it but that doesn't imply I agree with it. Title fights should not have catch weight. That rule should apply to everyone.
