Is this Diva serious? Between Cotto referring to himself in the 3rd person, saying no one can make him fight GGG and that he will throw away the belt if an organization forces him to fight GGG, the catchweight BS to defend this title and now telling Canelo and GGG they have to wait their turn? Cotto is making himself look like a clown. That's a valid response when you are beating top fighters left and right but when you fighting bums like Geale you sound ******. What line did Geale stand in to get this fight? How did that chump wait his turn? What fans were asking for that fight? Nobody. If you don't like being hounded by the media then stop ducking. You fought a wounded man on one knee and been running from tough fights nobody cares about you fighting Geale which is why all the questions are about the guys you wouldn't fight. This is about self preservation and not about guys waiting in line.Last edited by bigdunny1; 04-17-2015, 02:50 PM.

Geale would be ok if Cotto fought at least twice a year, but as a first defense of his new MW title after a 1 year lay off that's a rather bad choice imo.

Where the *** have you fans been, this is a older Cotto that is on the downside of his career. What he does now won't have any effect on his Legacy because for that that remember PRIME COTTO, that man was fighting who ever Arum was putting in front of him. Maybe that is why I give Cotto a PASS is because I watched his entire career and I remember Prime Cotto and him paying his Dues in this sport. New boxing fans want GGG and Canelo to get a shortcut to the top simply because they like those fighters. It doesn't work like that, you have to find your own way to the top and the ones that do get the shortcut to the top like Broner and Canelo they usually end up getting EXPOSED for not being deserving or ready
Getting a shot a Cotto is a ***ing HONOR for Canelo and GGG it is not a requirement for Cotto
They know. They just have residual anger and want to see Cotto fight Wlad too.
Amazing how fans will defend some seriously questionable shyt from their favorite fighters, but wanna act like Cotto fans are crazy for respecting his right to take a voluntary...
Flag bias 101.

Who wears knee support for healthy knees?
He should rematch Cotto with a helmet on.

Now, FEELING the punches, has NOTHING to do with the damage said punches actually cause.
You don't have to FEEL a punch when it breaks your nose causing you to drink your own blood for 9 rounds. The damage is still done.
The commentators DID notice that Margarito's punches were NOT making the same sound nor having the same affect on Cotto in the rematch.

One could argue that he tore his knee as a result of being dropped 3x by Cotto. Once his chin got cracked, he lost his legs and hurt his knee once again.
What came first? The Cotto Crack or that "knee doe?"
Judging by his sprinting ability in round 6... I would say Surgio's knee was good to go.

The clip of Sergio darting across the ring, clashing knees with Cotto, does NOTHING for the fanboy propaganda "his knee doe."
His CHIN doe.
