Martinez saw specialists who determined that he may need surgery to strengthen the areas that protect the knee, which he also said can possibly be done with special preparation and training. If he does the surgery he will have to retire because of the healing time, if he can just work out he will fight again. His knee is not as strong as it once was due to two surgeries, which is why he needed a brace for the fight, which is why he felt his knees were week. So as I said Martinez was not injured before, during, or after the fight.

I know the problem, you don't understand the definition of injury. Ill give you a hint, a weak knee due to a past injury is not equal to a week knee due to injury.
Sergio Martinez now-"my meniscus is completely torn"

Sergio martinez trainer during the cotto fight- "Your knees are not working right, Sergio," and, "Your knees are not responding."

he had bad knees after chavez, he had bad knees after murray, he had good knees for cotto? and now he has bad knees again? sorry that makes no sense. you are implying that his meniscus healed itself completely for cotto...then tore itself completely after the fight? it tore itself sometime after this mysterious mri that only his manager knows about. meanwhile all the other doctors that have seen his knee say its completely f-ucked. hmmm who do you trust about knees? knee doctors or a guy that setup a multi-million dollar fight for his fighter derp! maybe all sergio's doctors hate cotto and thats why they are saying his knee is f-ucked? conspiracy!

you know the problem better than even sergio's doctors! you and sergio's manager are the only ones who know the truth! it's simply impossible that he can suddenly generate new healthy knees for the cotto fight and now be super disabled after the cotto fight yet you are saying his knees were fine for that small window. makes no sense. sorry you are nuthugging to the highest degree. you can't seem to face the fact that they scammed you and pretended sergio was healthy when he really wasn't. you are so delusional that you are even defending the fact that they scammed you. simply unbelievable.

I don't have anything in particular against Cotto; but at 160 his "behavior" is all but ridiculous...

GGG to fight Geale, "this is the first real test of GGG's career."

GGG knocks out Geale, " GGG's the best look what he did to a fighter like Geale."

Who will Cotto fight, "if Cotto fights a welterweight hes a disgrace, he better at least defend against a real middleweight."

Cotto to defend against Geale, "GGG already beat Geale, Geale's a nobody, this is a B.S. Match, Cotto's a disgrace"

somethings not right, oh yeah you're all full schit!

yeah man the cotto hate in this forum is ridiculous.

I've always stated that Martinez cashed out and threw that fight . Seems even more evident now hearing this MRI story about phantom knee swelling/injuries during their fight. .
