Khan ducking Alexander in 2013 is why this fight is happening. Khan beat Alexander in 13 instead of 14, he fights May in May 14 instead of Maidana.

Some people including myself aren't looking forward to either fights, Gavin is a stay busy nothing fight, I'm not looking forward to it but whatever. I understand why some would criticise it. But that doesn't exempt Khan from criticism for his lackluster choice of opponent. Khan fans won't have it though, the prodigal son can't do any wrong. Ever.

The Gavin fight is just a throwaway fight.

If you want to compare fights, then compare it to the Rios fight. I think Algieri might beat Rios but Rios at least has something of a fanbase and is a name. It's a good opponent for Brook to grow his name in America.

Algieri does nothing for Khan AT ALL.

And once again....the overriding bottom line is....why are we comparing opponents when Khan could just stop being a b1tch and directly fight Brook?
