Amazes me that fans of a fighting sport act like a cut lip or a bruise is a big deal.

Agree. Then you get stories like Canelo knocking out sparring partners and beating dudes up.....goes into the Mayweather fight and gets absolutely outclassed. To me this sounds like Mayweather is getting some quality sparring and is going to be on his A game and very sharp come fight night.

Can't blame testing or craps though right?

Thats because of these so called fans have never bothered to even try the sport. First ones to talk about a fighter's heart though.

Mayweather is preparing for his May 2nd mega-fight against WBO welterweight champion Manny Pacquiao (57-5-2, 38KOs), at the MGM Grand.

Over the last few weeks, there have been numerous stories with respect to Mayweather's sparring sessions. Stories of Mayweather beating down sparring partners, stories of Mayweather being beat down, and stories of injuries being suffered from round sessions.

Happens to everyone, remember the story of Karim Mayfield giving Pac all he could handle in sparring. Roach actually alluded to there being truth to the rumor by stating Mayfield was dismissed from camp because he was too aggressive.

At the end of the day it didn't mean ****, Pac still won the fight he was training for and we all know he would beat Mayfield in a real fight.

He is right which is why practice fighting P4P champ Errol Spence does not have a pretty looking fashion accessory signifying his championship status at practice fighting.
