Floyd can act how he wants but everyone knows Floyd takes his training seriously. It's just that Floyd treats media day work out like any other day so he doesn't feel the need to do anything special.
If some how Manny does win the fight it's not going to be because Floyd wasn't prepared. Floyd's going to be ready.

You want to know the best sort of disinformation?

The sort of disinformation that already feeds into already established assumptions.

        Spadafora doe.

There's been and will continue to be countless amounts of fighters that look great in sparring and are world beaters in the gym, yet fail where it matters which is out underneath the bright lights.

Mayweather has said this many a time and it's one of the truest things he's ever said.

Mayweather does it where it matters.

No one gives a fuck if he's getting battered in sparring by a sparring partner who goes onto lose his next fight to some journeyman.

The spars will remain a myth.

The fights are what will remain a reality.

AKA the stories about him getting wrecked in sparring by the likes of Jose 'Chon' Zepeda are true. Just like the stories about De La Hoya getting worked by Victor Ortiz and Edwin Valero were true back in '08.

It's sparring. You work on things you don't do well. Not the things you do well. So yes, you're going to tagged. Sparring is learning. Not instantly perfecting.

This is a contact sport. It's what they do. A chef will overcook a piece of meat, a baker add too much flour to a batter, an accountant miss an itemization, a designer experiencing creative block....a boxer may or may not get hit in sparring, have a day feeling lethargic. This is their everyday job and they cannot look the same everyday. Keyboard warriors, go to a gym or workout at home 5-6 times a week for 8 weeks and film each session. Let me know if you had NO moments of feeling tired, weak, uninspired.

That's why a Pacquiao or Mayweather will release photos and video of when they're feeling and looking great.
                Excellent points and nicely written.

Floyd's 100% right on this but if those guys are touching him in sparring, imagine what a specialized assasin like Manny will do with no headgear.

                    Get Sum Floyd!!!!

Floyd basically admitting he has been getting whooped in sparring.
He says that he wants to retire in September but I think he will retire after the beating he receives from Pac. All the fans thought he was going to retire at 50-0, why call it quits at 49-0 then? He says September because he knows that he will lose to Pac and he will try to get revenge in September but if he doesn't even think he stands s chance now, how's he going to win then? Floyd, his family, and his fans have done a lot of talking the past few years. Now that the days are counting down, Floyd is starting to admit to himself the fact that he is outmatched.
