I think Maidana was at his best physically for both floyd fights because he didn't have a big window of inactivity between the two fights but him coming off any sort of layoff where he balloons up I don't see him beating pacquaio, he may drop him but over 12 rounds he doesn't win on points. I rock with Maidana but his weight problems do him a great disservice. Maidana with 2-3-4 months between bouts facing Pacquaio next would be an interesting match up.

Styles make fights. Maidana is way too willing to open up to not get hurt against Manny. He comes in straight lines, and throws looping shots. Manny's never had a problem with come forward plodders that open up.

Hell, a lot of people here are saying Rios/Maidana is a 50/50. Even Rios didn't wanna open up against Manny, and that's Brandon Rios. Maidana won't come charging like a bull against Manny. His arsenal will be cut in half, because he knows the fire power coming back is too lethal.
