ahaha you beat me to it

Froch has the right to overlook Degale, who has not been in any great hurry to progress...... just so long as he understands that Calzaghe had the same right to overlook Froch, who had not yet proven that he was deserving when Calzaghe retired.

Froch has been really vocal these past few days

Calzaghe could come back from retirement, set it up.

Froch was only considered a domestic/european level fighter and defending his British title when Calzaghe was basically in his last fights.

This wasn't the Froch we know now as a big name in the division, back then he probably wasn't even on Calzaghe's radar in terms of fights.
          Then, neither is Froch/Degale.

Degale still has ugly kid problems.

Carl Froch needed THREE FIGHTS to beat Mikkel Kessler, Joe Calzaghe only needed ONE when Kessler was young and undefeated. Two different classes between these two fighters. Calzaghe is too much of everything. He would dominate this B-level, slow-poke of a fighter. And he won't even have a puncher's chance because Calzaghe's chin is very solid. Hell, he even took a forearm from Roy Jones that knocked Joe down, and that couldn't stop him. Today people overrate Froch, just because the guy fought everyone. He's like Glen Johnson. A B-level fighter who got beat when he went up against the Elites.

This is why I don't like Carl Froch. Constantly talking out of his arse.

Calzaghe finished his career beating up Kessler, Hopkins and Jones Jr.

                    Now I like Carl Froch.

But to claim for a moment that Froch "RETIRED" Calzaghe is ****in ludicrous!

A prime Toney would have been a more serious challenge.

Kessler and Froch have only fought TWICE, each winning a unanimous decision over the other.
