i would like to see him there. he beat a RJJ that the HW champ could not. Tarver is much better than people give him credit for. i think he could do as good if not better than Bryd. Now that may not sound like much of a compliment but don't forget that Bryd is the longest raining champ today

no i think your wrong. ok he beat rjj after he lost 30 pounds. what he should have done was move up to heavy. can tarver fight heavy? no never. like someone said he doesnt move enough down at 175. i dont see him beating toney who just walks right into your punches. tarver cant take big punches either. you have to look at when he fights and someone goes in on him he doesnt really try to counter but just stand there and huddle up. that is a HW fighters dream man. just stand there and let me knock your head off. i think the guys in the HW division would love to fight him bc he doesnt move. but all in all none of the HW today would stand a fighting chance back in the day. but still with the less talent i still dont see tarver being a good HW.

Tarver can punch, lets not make it seem like he's a soft hitter.
