I think it's funny that GGG takes flak for Ward. GGG is active in his own division, he is like Rigo begging the other champs & top guys to fight him, he'll travel.

Meanwhile Ward has sat out the best part of his career. He tried to blame his last promoter for stalling his career & the tune-ups, new promoter, same game.
Ward is the fighter that should have moved up a division, he fought most of the champs at 168.
Ward was a 175 lb fighter, 175 was alive & Ward had his earplugs & dark glasses on.
We know he's good. Why's he playing a weight advantage & reluctant to travel? Greats don't need all the advantages.

Kessler fought tune-ups for damn near 40 fights. Golovkin is 33 yerars old and hasn't fought anything other than tune-ups in his entire career.

Ward obviously has a long way to go to match your criteria for hero worship.
