I think Danny will fight his mandatory because he thinks he'll look good against Postol and he knows he has to look good in his next fight to keep his reputation. He has figured that he is not as gifted as he thought...and I like Danny.

Nice, just make your own division at 144 Danny, no problem!

Canelo, Cotto and Garcia are pioneers in creating these new and exciting divisions!

Super Junior Welterweight (141-144) Canelo and Cotto are Super Junior Middleweights (154-157)

          Smart.

He would get wrecked at 147.

He wouldn't be favored against the top 10 WW, if he wants to make money he needs to stay at 140. You really think Danny is going to win a war against Rios, Maidana or Manny? You think he'll be able to cut off the ring and box with Bradley, Mayweather? What about Brook? What about Thurman? That's 7 names and I haven't even looked up the rankings, who knows if he'd even beat Khan again. Until you start talking Shawn Porter he loses each of those fights... 140 or bust for Danny, he's not a good enough fighter.
Did he beat Matthysse cause of power? Lol get his argentine c.ock out of your ass bruh.

The thing is, Postol is no slouch. I'd actually pick Postol to beat Garcia after seeing him vs Peterson.

No: he beat Lucas cause of an accidental "glove touch".

I think it would behoove Danny Garcia to keep those 140 lb. Titles and try to defend them against his mandatories. I dont think he can hang with the big dogs at 147. Pacquiao would destroy him in a one sided affair, while Thurman maidana and brook would beat him fairly easily. Danny will not win a title at 147 so why give up being the king of a division until Terance Crawford wins the who title and tries to unify with Garcia. Crawford would beat Garcia pretty easily as well.

I would say that requires actually making 140, but apparently he can stay champ at 140 while fighting at 143.
