after watching quillen fight i think it is a very winnable fight for cotto. he can be the no.2 guy at 160 dont need catchweights. should stay away from ggg thoughComment

would prefer there be no cw.. but 157 is within the middleweight limit. fair game, play ball. geale's a proven professional boxer, he should have no problem making the cwComment

I said I'd be ok with Cotto fighting ANY middle weight but not at 157...
Man I die a little inside when there are title fights at CW. I felt ashamed when Floyd fought Canelo at 152 and that farce 9th title Manny got. It's like divisions don't even matter anymore. I know catch weights have been around for a long time but they've never been ok to me. There's no way to defend a champion forcing the challenger to meet at a lower weight than the already established limit.Comment

It doesn't take much effort to "boycott' Cotto. More like not bothering to tune in because all his fights are rigged exhibition matches until he earns another Floyd/Manny payday.
He has cemented his status as the biggest cherrypicker in boxing. Boxrec makes my argument for me. Look at where his opponents were when he beat them. All the decent ones handed his ass to him on a platter since 2007. The rest were disabled, retiring, shot, or nobodies.
He is an cardboard cutout held up by his management, to give a hero to a boxing demographic going through a dryspell. It's blatant. Trout exposed the real Cotto.Comment
