Herrera has 7 KOs. When was the last time he won by KO

Watch the Benividez fight his punches on the inside have absolutely no power. He rarely punches with bad intentions usually it seems only when he gets hurt himself. He frustrated Garcia but he didn't hurt him. I can't even remember him scoring a KO or seriously hurting any opponets .looking at his Boxfec he only got KO or stoppages against D class Opponets

All those fights you mentioned ( Alvarado, Ruslan , Garcia , Benavidez ) he was victorious 1 time. And next time he steps up he's probably losing again.

He's a pro fighter so obviously when he punches it's going to hurt but his power is probably towards the bottom of the totem pole when it comes to top tier fighters. That's what I mean when I say no power

Yeah I agree that how known a fighter is doesn't determine their qaulity but resume is a pretty good indicator and Hererras doesn't add up to much he's has 1 win over a decent name ( Ruslan) every other somewhat respectable name he comes up short. Was he robbed every time ?nAdd to that his style is not entertaining and he has no fans he's easily replaceable and forgettable. No wonder Lamont turned him down he brings nothing. Even if you get the win you won't look good doing it.

I've posted a couple times about this fight and I know I'm in the minority but there's been other posters saying they also thought Benevidez won. Honestly I think being in the minority is good sometimes especially on this site there's allot of groupthink.

If you call cleaning out your division and being the man at 140 with probably the best resume under 30 while headlining Primetime embarrassing himself cool I Guess Garcia is an embarrassment. Get some perspective though your pumping the tires of a fighter with 1 decent win off a fighter with 1 decent win himself Whos mostly known for losing to Bradley. I've always said Herrera / Garcia was a close fight and could have went ether way. Like I said I scored it 7-5 Garcia and I tend to score favourably towards the puncher over a boxer. But Im not surprised that he didn't get the decision because he was a no name B side that wasn't given any respect before the fight and I don't think his effective jabbing did enough to take the belts away from the Champ.I thought Hererra / Benavidez was a clear win for Benavidez .

please don't cry about how I don't like Mauricio that why I didn't give him the nod. I don't care about Hererra I'm not a fan and I don't root against him I don't care if he wins or loses but if he's matched up against a decent name I'll watch.

I'm a fan of Garcia but I never claimed he's unstoppable or TBE and think 147 for him will be tough and if / when he loses I'll be ok with and still be a fan of his but it'll probably be against a legit opponet . I'm a hater and butt hurt because Garcia actually wins fights and has continued to clean out his division. That makes perfect sense to me

But your hyping up a fighter and waiving your Pom-poms for a guy who hasn't really accomplished anything except beating Ruslan and losing to every other decent name hes faced. And think that a no fan having fighter with a dreadful style should get a rematch because he made it a close fight. If Herrera actually had fans and get a respectable win and bring in some $. He'd get his rematch , But he can't and is 0 for 3 and that's why he won't and shouldn't get the rematch.
