Comments Thread For: Thomas Dulorme Confident of Victory Over Crawford

Thomas Dulorme didn’t need any additional motivation in accepting fights with Karim Mayfield and Hank Lundy at separate points in 2014. There was nothing major at stake in either fight, or a guarantee of bigger things to come.

As luck would have it, bigger things would come. Following his split decision win over Lundy last December, Dulorme was tabbed as the opponent of choice for Terence Crawford’s return to the 140 lb. division, with a vacant belt at stake for their April 18 showdown in Arlington, Texas.

Dulorme usually underperforms but this is his biggest fight and he might turn up for it. I favor TC but I'm not counting out Dulorme at all.

I don't know why. Crawford is better than he is at everything he likes to do.

Dulorme might have a physical advantage, he's a welterweight that moved down and Crawford is moving up. But I easily see the first round where Dulorme's chin gets touched by Crawford, Crawford will then dictate the fight. I haven't seen his last fight but since Abregu Dulorme fights as if he's afraid to get chin checked.
