Yea I heard about both fights and at first I found it odd that Thurman would fight in Cincy too. But they named Porter as the opponent and he's from Ohio. Thurman doesn't really have a home base. He's from Florida but doesn't fight there. Lately he's fought in Vegas, NY, California, Texas and even fought his first HBO fight in Cincy so it could potentially happen. I give Thurman the edge but it would prob be the best on paper PBC fight yet imo (Garcia-Peterson being the other)

Thurman was just on the main event for a national televised fight card, shown in primetime, with 4m viewers watching him in an exciting fight. You add that Thurman fights in an exciting style and he's basically a 'top of the bill' fighter now.

Looked it up and the Amalie Arena (nearby in Tampa) is a quality venue with a capacity over 19,000 [will likely be 15k-17k once all the proper presentation fixtures are put in]; put Keith Thurman on the top of that bill, sell it as the 'hometown kid coming home', put him in with someone who's coming to fight, and i have no doubt that he could put 10k butts into the seats, easy.

Now, this is not to say that Thurman would never fight in Cincinnati and draw well; it's just say that it makes no sense for him to be the co-feature for a fight in Cincinnati with Adrien Broner already on the bill.

I'm not a fan of Barthelemy, but I think he'll give Broner some problems. Rances is definitely built like a LWW.

This matchup seems so random to me..

Broner will struggle vs anyone that has legit skills and barthelemy def has that..

I still like broner to win a super close and pretty exciting fight...
