In fact, this is the third fight in a row that many Ricans and Philly residents have to come to advocate for Garcia. The rest of the world saw him lost against Herrera, many also thought it was an insult and travesty to fight an unrated LW and to make things worse at a catch weight of 142 Pounds (so that made it 2 divisions above), and again the majority sees Garcia loosing against Peterson. The last 2 fights the so called "champion" wasn't able to defend any of his titles because he can't make 140 Lbs. anymore. And his obnoxious father keeps opening his mouth so every time gets harder for them to be unnoticed with all the gifts received. The Garcia owe a lot to Al Haymon.

I think Spence knocks his **** in the dirt right now.

He probably wins some moving up, but he will need to be matched pretty careful.

If it sounds like I'm shitting on him, I'm not.

He can't rely on his power at '47. Not against the best, and the upcoming talent.
I would have to agree. I don't think his power will travel.

All you got to do is look at Danny's face and you will see who beat who!!! In the final rounds Danny looked like he was feeling it and if Lamont had started his assault a few rounds earlier, he would have put that boy to sleep. The body shot were hurting him bad...

If Peterson had the fight in the bag his trainer wouldn't have told him to go out the last two rounds and pressure Garcia. You even hear Hunter say "I've never lie to you." Even he knew that Peterson had to do more to win, he should have told him that from round 4 as he was the bigger man.

Haymon is the place to go to ruin your rep. They do not build and match there fighters appropriately to steadily advance their craft, and overpay them for mismatches. This is why the lot of them have so many haters. Garcia with gift after gift with no visual increase in skill level, Quillin ducking fights, citing big things to come, then missing weight and just putting in a ****ty performance, Lamont with his armpit PED pellet injections gets blasted and still remains a titlist (although officially stripped, finally), Broner a lazy douche that calls out names, yet never fights them, Santa Cruz doing the same as Broner, calling out names than hiding behind this manager's skirt. The stink is clear over there in Haymon's stable. You may get paid in the short term, but your long term career and reputation will suffer. Talk about a deal with the devil!

that it, there wasn't one thing that Garcia did better than Peterson. nearly impossible to have Garcia winning this fight.

Should have given Garcia the Loss, thought he would learn from the Herrera gift, but he has just gotten worst.

Garcia is a fun fighter to watch. But he lost this one.
You failed to mention the long stretches when Lamont was running and show-boating. He did good work and won the rounds he should have, but he let this fight go by starting slow and giving away rounds. I'd love to see a rematch and Petersen may well be favored, but I agree with the decision.

When people haven't liked you since you've stepped on to the world stage they are never going to like you the only thing he can do is continue to win and then they will have to respect you!The reason Danny has gotten so much hate is because he beat two of the more popular fighters especially on this site Khan and Matthysse also add to the fact that Danny was a big underdog in both fights fans of those fighters are never going to accept that Danny beat them.

Not sure about that. Khan is probably the most vilified fighter in the entire history of Boxingscene. Nobody gets more **** and disrespect than Amir Khan.
