Should we get rid of the fighters too? Having two ripped guys in the ring shirtless might turn on the female fans.

Better play it safe and watch an empty ring for 45 minutes.

Is it time to finally put an end to the use of ring girls in fighting sports?
I used to follow Arianny Celeste on social media shes a UFC card girl and she makes bank! She has a phat condo, a brand new range rover and makes a ton of money for other related UFC crap. So is it really degrading when some of these girls are ballin hard off doing pretty much nothing?

Shoot if men could do something as simple as that and make that type of money we would too but society don't work like that

I would imagine it is only in America that sexism is considered bad.

Just don't treat women poorly like in some countries/cultures.

They do in a way. That's what sport is. The odds of being genetically good enough to be an elite athlete are probably similar to the odds of a chick having the genetics to be a model.

10% think it's sexist. Well it supports the general stats that 10% men are gay unless those who voted are female feminists.

Apparently dancing and strutting around in a minimal amount of clothing to appease a predominantly male audience bothers her a bit, especially considering the fact that we're probably not gonna see any dudes in banana hammocks carrying a round card during a female boxing match. To her, it reinforces the notion that she isn't supposed to watch boxing because it's a male sport for male fans. But tbh, she knows more about the sweet science than some of the guys on NSB.
                    Owned.

I couldn't care either way. This might surprise some people, but I tune in for the fight.

The UFC octagon girls are not just like ring girls in boxing. They do a lot of other stuff for promotion and they get big money. I heard Arianny get up to 10k for basically three days of work. That's not bad. And their job has enabled them to do other things like being the the playboy. I think that being a ring girl isn't degrading if you consider doing such jobs as well.

Being one of the Top Rank Knockouts or the Corona Girls or whatever has not the same status and is probably not paid as good as beeing a UFC octagon girl, but it's a nice bonus. Most of them are quite successful in modeling.

I think it's a tradition and has nothing to do with sexism except you are in Eastern Europe where the ring girls sometimes are looking like **********s or strippers.
