I don't feel like I was asking for a lot. I just couldn't give him the round or two that turned out to be the difference. [ I had 115-113 btw]

In those rounds, it was basically the feeling I get when I watch Lara....it's like damn man I wanted to give you the round bad based on ring generalship... but you didn't throw. Even just one small sequence would have swayed me.
Exactly. And that's all Lamont would have needed in those early rounds, because Lord knows Danny wasn't doing **** but swinging at air the majority of the time.

Part of the ring generalship criterion is to take advantage of situations.
The first 6 rounds of this fight were like a carbon copy of Alvarez/Lara. One guy dancing around, clearly the better fighter but not taking advantage of his openings, while his slow-footed opponent won rounds pretty much because he was the only one fighting.

Basically Peterson only has himself to blame for the L. A little more activity other than a jab in the early rounds and it was really an easy win for Lamont because he just mauled Danny in the late rounds. Part of boxing is being able to counter effectively early like Mayweather will counter over Danny's lazy jabs and come forward as long as Danny's feet aren't set those counters score big points and win rds because you're anticipating your opponents moves before they make it that's how Floyd wins so many rounds throwing little punches.

Based on the Herrera and Peterson blueprint that's now out there If a B (Thurman, Brook, Broner ect) fighter can't beat Danny at this point they probably should be at this level or Champ at all...

Should have fought instead of running throwing nothing you were over confident doing all types of unnecessary show boating biggest fight of your life and your playing around you deserved that all the only thing you can take from this is you survived without getting dropped or ktfo and that was the game plan so the stick won't go down

All you got to do is look at Danny's face and you will see who beat who!!! In the final rounds Danny looked like he was feeling it and if Lamont had started his assault a few rounds earlier, he would have put that boy to sleep. The body shot were hurting him bad...

The winner of a fight isn't judged off of who looks the best at the end or who had the most dominant round.Peterson lost and to his credit he isn't whining about the result.
