People have to remember that a weight class is a range of weights. If I asked what's Welterweight? Most folks would say 147. Most folks would be wrong. Welterweight is absolutely anything above 140 and the uppermost limit is 147.

What do you call a title fight at 142 lbs.? A Welterweight title fight.

Now, is it strategy to dictate in a contract that your opponent has to meet you below the uppermost limit? Yes, if you think that extra struggle would weaken them. But, so is dictating what gloves they can/can't wear, who ring walks first, who gets announced first, # days-out weight limits, etc.

Strategy, yes. Cheating, no. A fight within a weight division's range is a fight in that division.

      f**k Kenny Rainford
Look,i love the mullet and all that.Your skills were sick in the ring,i mean Ray Robinson ish.But When Kenny was doing his ring walk,he had the eye of the mullet between his teeth!

I always wish i had have met Brian,he seemed a cool guy and he clearly looked after his mullet. Is his father German?

He's 38 years old and he felt weak and tight (according to his own admission) in his last fight, what's wrong with hiring a strength and conditioning coach? Pacquiao always had one, he worked with Ariza for many years and he worked with Justin Fortune for many years, and Toney got caught using PEDs when he was working with Roach and Fotune!

Mayweather is getting tested for this fight just like every other fight he's been in since 2009, your excuses before the fight even takes place are pathetic!

one thing that ive always wondered about it

              say mayweather is taking peds

how many people would have to be in the know for this to happen without it ever getting out into the public?

Would roger or floyd snr know?

              Any of his tmt crew?

who would floyd be getting advice from regarding the cycling on and off of peds?

same goes for someone like andre ward - Would virgil hunter know as well?

The reason why Mayweather hired both Memo and Ariza is simple: "They were hired in case Pacquiao and his team were to look towards using their services but Mayweather will not actually use them." (My Theory) - May 3rd WAR TBE
