Yall don't see Quillin's plan. You see my boy Quillin is smart, he got his GED. The big picture flies over you simpleton's head.
Pete will be raking in those $20 million paydays as soon as Golovkin leaves the middleweight division!

Ok I don't like Quillin, but he said the fans would understand he had to to make the fights the fans want, right now Haymon is putting on those events. Quillin pays the ultimate price, although he was paid step aside money and Haymon just bought him a shot back at his belt, Haymon needed Quillin and now he has repaid his debt to him. Quillin ****ed up with the weight and performance.
I wouldn't be surprised to see Quillin versus Andre Dirrell for the IBF title this year, or Antony Dirrell too. He has options and Haymon will make it up to him for being made to look ******.
My only grievance in all this is the new PBC formats are really poor atmospheric.
Quillin isn't going to get a title or be theb est at 168 as long as Ward and DeGale are there.

My feeling is that Quilin would've handled Korobov easily. In finance, and business in general, if you have a sure thing in front of you e.g. $1.4 million payday, you take it and cash in. I don't get stepping away in the hopes that somehow the move will strategically benefit you much greater. There's too many 'what ifs' in the equation.
I've watched boxing and followed the inner workings (to some degree) of the sport for many years and I can't cite a single situation where the fighter turned down a huge payday and made a much greater one in lieu of. Can anyone think of one?

Bradley ducking Khan and not only securing a PAC fight, but 2 with a JMM payday sandwiched in between?
