WBC/WBA junior welterweight champion Danny Garcia (30-0, 17KOs) has answered the call of former three division champion Adrien Broner (30-1, 22KOs).

Last night at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, Garcia won a close twelve round majority decision over Lamont Peterson in the Premier Boxing Champions main event on NBC. Broner, who is very close with Peterson, was sitting ringside.

Not long after the contest, Broner issued a challenge to Garcia to fight him in September at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas.

Whether he chooses to box or apply pressure and go toe to toe I think this is a very winnable fight for AB. Hopefully it's either at the full 140 or 147 limit. These jerkoffs need to pick a division and stay there.

That is a pretty good fight for Bronner. Bronner is limited as a technical boxer but he should be able to neutralize a left hook without something to back it up.
