Maidana would completely PWN Garcia .... No doubt about it. Garcia has shaky defense and he doesn't handle pressure well at all.

If Peterson had fought the first six rounds like he fought the last six, we would have a new LWW Champ today. Maidana won't make that mistake and will bring it from the opening bell.

And the opposite can be argued to, Danny would have been stronger in the beginning rounds and might have KOed Peterson.

IMO Peterson's late success was thanks to his early game strategy. But what do I know.

This is now a big time fight. I learned 2 things from last night. 1) is that Danny Garcia really does have a beard! I would NOT favor Garcia to beat Maidana, but Maidana vs. Garcia at the Barclay's would be a monster fight! 2) Danny should avoid Broner (probably Ruslan too). He's should get a decent test @ 147. I would suggest "The Ghost" Guererro. I would also suggest Broner to keep his focus on Amir Khan!

Maidana though is less orthodox than the Machine, he likes to close range and **** while Matthysse prefers to stay at trading range.

If Maidana gets to fight his fight (on the inside) I think he has the advantage.
