I can say without doubt that at 147 DSG won't experience the same amount of "success" he's had at 140. He loses to most of the top 10 ranked in that division. He doesn't have to worry about "running" with Chino, that's for sure.

Maidana is taylor made for Garcia, he will be there to hit from round one when Gacia is his strongest. Bronner is a much harder fight for Garcia. IMO

It will be what PEDerson did but from the opening bell
not round 8, oh and with more power, and hurtful shots. Maidana bullies Garcia, and stops him.
Maidana has problems with fast defensive fighters (especially those who run and hold), Garcia is a perfect fight for him, PERFECT i tell you.

I don't like Peterson and I thought that Danny would stop him ? Shame on you Danny. For this you better not face Maidana unless you drain him at catch weigh then you'll survive. Staying at 140 Broner will tattoo you all night long. No. Where to go. Wait, there's always the guy (Saika) who beat you in PR.

Maidana has been out of the ring since last September's rematch decision loss to Floyd Mayweather Jr. at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas. Garcia came back last night at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, where he gutted out a twelve round majority decision over Lamont Peterson.
Even prior to the Peterson fight, Maidana beat the drum for a showdown with Garcia.
Garcia still holds the WBC/WBA world title at junior welterweight. His last two fights have taken place over the division limit and he says the catch-weight limit of 143-pounds for Peterson was a hindering factor in his performance. He sees no reason to remain at 140-pounds.

If Peterson had fought the first six rounds like he fought the last six, we would have a new LWW Champ today. Maidana won't make that mistake and will bring it from the opening bell.
