Garcia barely won by being more active offensively in the early rounds. Peterson should have started sooner with his offensive output. Garcia's face looked pretty busted up after the fight while Peterson looked almost unmarked. I think the main thing Danny showed last night was that he has a decent chin.

He didn't feel the punches because they didn't really land too often. Danny was shadowboxing when he wasn't getting battered.

I'm sure being a middleweight in the ring had nothing to do with it.

haven't had a chance to rewatch the fight yet, but I didn't think Garcia was out landing Peterson in the early rounds. Yeah he was coming forward and throwing shots, while Peterson was moving and jabbing, but what did he land outside of an occasional body shot?

I respect Lamont...but he lost that fight...he can talk about NOT feeling the shots all he want but that don't change the judges score cards....he donated the first 6 or 7 rounds to the DSG foundation by running laps around the Barclays....thanks Lamont for being so giving!! #DSGDirtyThirty #30-0

this board is just pathetic sometimes with how biased everyone is, whether it's on one side or the other.

i scored the fight for Peterson last night. i thought they split the early rounds, and Peterson dominated late in the fight. i thought the contrast between Ray Leonard's commentating and Steve Farhood's scorecard were amusing; Leonard saw Peterson's movement and approach as effective, Farhood obviously didn't like it. And I knew right away that it was going to depend what kind of judges were there. Really I just feel bad for Peterson. Danny didn't win that fight, and it bugs me to see someone get an L on their record when they fought so well.

A lot of the shots that Garcia landed were rolled by Peterson as another poster mentioned. I'm not a fan of runners and Peterson was no doubt running those early rounds but Garcia wasn't landing **** while Peterson had a decent jab going. Peterson won that fight 9-3 on my scorecard.

Pederson was on the juice that's why

And Danny doesn't feel strong at the weight anymore

His dad and trainer doesn't wNt 147 for him though. 147 has some killas, and some big dudes. Garcia needs a nutritionist and s and c coach.
