He needs both. No defense and never has a plan B.

Actually, he does a plan B. It's to start lowblowing.

Maybe Robert Garcia would be a good fit for Danny. Robert is good at improving overachievers.

Danny would benefit from a new trainer.

Nacho & Roach would be my recommendations. Roach would clean up his offense and footwork. Nacho would improve his overall game. Can't really lose with them, except Roach is stretched pretty thin.

I'm not even sure, an offensive minded trainer because let's face it; Danny is no defensive wizard and he won't win fights that way, he's an offensive fighter.

          Roach? Jackson?

i think it's a bit premature to say that garcia is fading.

styles make fights. perston's hands are decently quick, but his feet are legit. danny's got issues with guys who can move, or who can get all the way inside.

danny wants you to stand in the pocket and trade, where he can land the garsh and rely on his top flight chin.

we can speculate - and i agree that garcia hasn't looked as good as he did prior to matthysse - but it's impossible to say that herrera and peterson, two very good boxers, didn't ahve something to do with that.

danny still has one of the best chins in the division. when that goes, we can safely say that the matthysse fight, and others, are catching up to him

That's the truth. This is just another pathetic attempt to make up for Matthysse losing the fight.

I don't know. I don't recall ever thinking Garcia looked spectacular.

No, it's not. How am I making an excuse when I picked Danny over Lucas?

He struggled with Theophane, ok he was a bit green then I get it but the flaws should have been addressed, then Herrera and now PEDerson?

If Angel can't come up with a plan against these type of fighters then obviously something needs to change.

Matthysse took his soul the way Hopkins did to Taylor.

The dude hasn't changed one bit, he's still flatfooted, he's still wind milling, he still has a suspect defense, if anyone took a step backwards, it's Lucas, getting dropped very easily by non power puncher.
