    Nevermind Bradley Floyd or Pacquiao.

Danny hit his peak; oh well.
Danny clearly won but *IF* he can stay at 140 he should, but judging by this fight it seems he might not be able to. Peterson "El Mata Moscas" was getting away with trying to fight all like JC Chavez at times and had Danny backpedaling alot. Danny still clearly won because if he wasn't blocking Peterson's punches, Peterson was missing badly. That Danny that was back pedaling last night was clearly NOT THE SAME GUY WHO STOOD HIS GROUND AGAINST AND HURT MATHYSSE AND MADE MATHYSSE GUN SHY AND SECOND GUESS HIMSELF. My guess is that Garcia will be even stronger, maybe even much stronger, at welterweight than even the night he shocked the monstrous Lucas.

P4p best troll thread I read today. What about the monstrous herrera? The one who roughed him up on the inside? How would danny do against bigger men like maidana, porter or guerrero? All of whom love fighting on the inside?

Garcia is moving up according to Angel. Did I hear him right? 4:25

If I heard him right, that gives Matthysse's fight with Provodnikov extra significance. Whoever wins that will be #1 or #2 with Herrera.

How he has not worked on a straight right is what makes me sad, if you have a great left hook it is your responsibility as a fighter to balance that **** out so you are a two handed fighter.
He was very effective with the straight right last night against Pete and was catching Zab with it too a bunch even knocked him down with it. As a matter of fact he dropped Salka with a straight right too the first time...

He's got a pretty solid straight right IMO.

Like I said, he needs a new head trainer.

He can't consistently struggle with a certain style as long as he has.

Bad style for Danny? Sure, but the flaws haven't been corrected in 3 questionable bouts. I don't think Angel knows how to.

He looked just as bad if not worse last night than he did in PR against Herrera. Zero improvement. I don't think there's any question he needs a real trainer and not his ****** father, but I think the odds of him making a change there are at about 0.00000000000001%.

U guys do realize Peterson is actually very good right? Ppl sleep on him bit he has the potential to give every fighter from 140 to 147 a very hard fight. He's not an easy out. I just don't see why judge Danny harsh on this one.

Yeah there's no doubt, Lamont's a tough out. He's a good fighter no question about it.

                    But like Danny said pre-fight, "Lamont's a good fighter...but I'm a GREAT fighter."

If that was true, and DG's fans like to think that it is, then he wouldn't have been getting walked down, toyed with, and dominated for the majority of the 2nd half of the fight.

Danny is supposed to be held to a higher standard.
