Wlad just doesn't impress me. He doesn't really have a boxing style and he gets winded so easily... I enjoy Vitali because he had a really cool defensive style for a giant heavyweight.

people only think so highly of him because they contrast him against the rest of the heavies. his fights are much more fun to watch than any of the other top guys.

You can't forget "Juan Carlos Gomez". (laughs out loud)

I don't think theres any doubt about it, that Vitali is the better brother of the two, in just about everones eyes. Wladimir simply cannot take huge shots like his brother can, the uppercut Vitali took off Lewis for example, would have put Wladimir to sleep, or at least would have led to a stoppage. the common opponents are Chris Byrd and Corrie Sanders, the Byrd loss by Vitali was an injury, and the other common opponent was Corrie Sanders, and we all know which brother came off best there.

I think it's silly to say that Wladimir is as good an all rounder as Vitali, if you haven't got the chin, you haven't got the chin, period. saying that Wladimir has a better resume is a moot point, he beat a shot Ray Mercer and the other guys were simply not great, most of them wern't punchers anyway. yes say he's talented, but to make him out to be something he's not, is just being in denial IMO.

^ I think that uppercut LL landed on Vitali would have KO'd a ****ing horse.

a better chin is the only thing that vitali has on wlad. if wlads chin wasnt so atrocious. he would have more even more "nuthuggers" and fewer "haters". since all the people that talk about the klits fall into these two catagories rather than fans and people who think they are ****e.

edit that, i mean a better chin is the only thing vitali HAD on wlad. wlad takes fights while his brother hides. another reason why he is better.

                  Danny Williams
                  Corrie Sanders
                  Kirk Johnson
                  Larry Donald
                  Obed Sullivan

Find another name worth note on his record, then tell me he is a better fighter than his little brother. I might have posted this too many times....but it is getting really annoying how he is generally regarded as the "best heavyweight"

                  Yeah ****ing right.

Look at the names Wladimir has defeated:

                  Axel Schulz
                  Monte Barrett
                  Chris Byrd
                  Derrick Jefferson
                  Charles Shufford

                  TOS
                  Frans Botha

                  Jameel Mcline
                  Danell Nicholson
                  Samuel Peter
                  Ray Mercer
                  Dave Bostice

Sure he has 3 losses by stoppage. Vitali has 2 of them. And call a "dog a dog" not a ****ing "cat that barks".

"He hurt his shoulder" "If it wasn't for the cut" blah blah.

Vitali < Wladimir enough said. And its really annoying how people think he was the man to beat simply because of his outing against Lennox Lewis. The same out of shape Lewis would have had serious trouble with the better fighter in Wlad.

                  Kthanks.

personally, i'm more of a fan of vitali's work. he has more of a killer instinct which you can easily see when he fights. he clubs his opponents to death and at the same time outpointing every opponent he has faced by the third round. i'd say vitali has more of a comfort in the ring, much like lewis had - that relaxed mental state combined with supreme confidence, and was not easy to hit as well. after his fight with byrd, in which he stopped as his arm was completely numb, he really woke up in certain regards and decided to fight no matter what injuries he would have incurred. and vk does sport a excellent kickboxing career supported by an excellent amateur boxing career. remember, it was vitali who was first envisioned as a title contender before wladimir had. the focus then went back and forth several times.

now wladimir has been my second favorite for years. probably has some of the best offensive tools of all time. and his boxing career is very lengthy for his age(30 i believe). one reason is that vitali had focused more on his kickboxing career before 1996.

i do currently regard wk as the best hvywt fighter. i also feel he could polish a few areas - get the killer instinct back, deal with a constant pressure more easily, polish the inside game, and get back to scaring the **** out of opponents.
