It sounds like that was the plan if they couldn't work out deal with Frank and BJS. I recall Frank talked about it with Kugan.

Yeah I remember that, and I thought at the time that if Lee gave up his belt the Quillin option would probably go with it.

It seemed pretty clear that when Haymon "persuaded" Quillin to hand the belt in rather than fight with Roc he promised him he'd have a chance to win it back again before too long, and Andy Lee was that chance.
