i love tata, his victory over zab is one of my favs from an argentine boxer. but he was limited (very). also gambled most of his money from the big fights (especially from floyd) now he is fine, has his own gym.

Still doesn't change the fact Cotto never was the welterweight champ..
      He was a titlist

      Judah even won it

that should tell you that being "the champ" doesn't mean all that much in this era of cherry pickiing shouldn't it? zsolt erdei, carlos baldomir, cotto at MW. were those people really the best or did they freeze out the best by not fighting them hmmmm

Nobody froze Cotto out @ 147

Him losing to Margo and PAC killed his chance at supremacy

The champ means more in a splintered era

Number one fightinh number two....or the real champ losing to a contender like baldo did to Judah
People hold on to trinkets and kidnap them in their countries

still doesn't change the fact that cotto is leagues above baldomir (both skill and resume) hahahahahaha. so what if he didn't have the title?? beating baldomir looks okay on paper but when you really look at it it really ain't all that.

so i guess he should have done what floyd did which was avoid margarito and pac (for five years). maybe then he would have held on to some paper supremacy hahahahahaha get a clue you punk.

but cotto had to beat margarito to become "the champ" while baldomir had to beat judah, floyd had to beat baldomir, etc....so you see when certain guys like #1 rated marg get frozen out the whole thing becomes a sham. for example if cotto fights geale and loses well is geale really the best or did ggg get frozen out?

All of them deserve respect....they're prizefighters

Mayweather beat SSM who beat Margo who beat Cotto

Mayweather beat the champ or number 1 guy twice to beat lineal champ twice

No matter how you try to dilute the accomplishment

Margo ain't no atg or even hall of famer....Margo wouldn't be in moneys top 5 career wins

Margo has a thin Ass resume

Like I SD before they all deserve respect
