Come on, people act like that fight was a wipeout in favor of Herrera. It was a close fight and Herrera did have an easy time with Danny.

Why are you so happy? Didnt we get a 2014 full of **** fights? It was about time we get something decent from Haymon, but this is not "great"
the dude's name is TMT hell he'd call John Molina Jr/Luis Collazo a great fight if Haymon made it a main event

Well that's what happens when you have the highest active KO percentage in the sport. And for the record I wouldn't personally put GGG in the top 5, he still needs a true signature win IMO.

I'm not saying Danny sucks, top 20 is nothing to sneeze at. He's obviously a really good fighter. If he blasts out Peterson and then follows it up with another nice win, lets say he fights Broner after and f**ks him up too, then I'd be the first one in here saying that he's a top 10 P4P guy.

But nice wins over Amir Khan & Lucas Matthysse don't vault you into the top ten. He also had an absolutely atrocious showing against Herrera (whether you thought he won or lost) in what was supposed to be a showcase fight for him in front of his PR fans. His other notable wins came against dudes on their career death beds (Zab, Morales). And people like to trash GGG's resume to downplay him but he's not blasting out bums for f**k's sake. He's making them look like bums, though. People act like Murray, Rubio, Geale, and Macklin are trash. No they're not grade A opposition or signature wins but they're all formidable opponents for 95% of the rest of the weight class.

People like you tend to forget the meaning of P4P.

P4P Garcia is NOT better than GGG.

And top what P4P? Certainly not top 10.

Yeah and it's not even close. People should be able to just see by the eye test alone that Golovkin is just on an entirely different level P4P than Danny Garcia. And again, that's not taking anything away from Danny Garcia.

But only Danny Garcia fans and family & friends of Danny would have him rated higher P4P than mother**king Gennady Golovkin.

I don't hate him. I just don't think he's top ten yet. He's a good fighter and a highly dangerous fight for anybody (anybody) in & around the weight class.

I do however have an irrational level of hatred for Angel, doe.

Angel has done a great job in making Danny think like a champion. Confidence is key. As for the Herrerra fight, any way you slice it, it was a close fight with the nod going the champ as is the norm. Herrerra has a nice jab though.
