An African-American accent? You mean like Colin Powell's?Everyone has an accent. They shape who you are and where you come from. They allow strangers to judge you within a split-second of opening your mouth.
A white kid who grows up in a black neighborhood and has black friends most of his upbringing will have the same accent they do. Danny Garcia and his father Angel Garcia both have african american accents. Does that mean they are "fake" ?
Even if Rosado is faking an accent, I have nothing against it. Some singers fake their accents to sell themselves why shouldn't boxers.

Wow! Sig worthy for sure. Thread starter is obviously a hater or a nerd that got picked on in school.I noticed that quite a few people on this site generally don't like English speaking Latinos (non Mexican) from the east coast. My theory is there are a lot of nerdy type dudes on this forum and they can relate to immigrant Latino,Asian or even Eastern European fighters who lack style and personality (not their fault, language barrier) because they themselves lack in those departments...
Difference is they have no excuse they grew up in this country. Point is the young,American, urban fighters remind them of the guys who used to pick on them in highschool (probably still do). Well adjusted non beta type dudes don't even notice anything weird in the way "those type" of fighters act because they aren't viewed as a threat and we can just enjoy the sport without making it about "I hope he loses because he reminds me of the guy who used to smack me around back in the day"

Well it's either that or their racist which is way worse IMO. IDC what race you are, how you speak, or where you're from. We all talk different according to where we were raised. There's no need to hate. I don't speak ****** but I don't hate either. I'll be safer in the ****** then I would be with any racist piece of **** in this world.Comment
