I still this that stoppage was premature! Go look at the fight again! Alot of people on this forum said that Castillo vs Corrales 1 was a premature stopage! **** now look at this fight! Damn ref i hope he chokes that fat **** face!

Top Contender IMO, when he fights a top 10 opponent we will see how good he really is.

I don't know if you realize this, but, uh...he just TKO'd Howard Eastman. So, I guess what I'm saying is, he just knocked out a top 10 fighter, albeit an inactive one.

That ref sucks! He should know that Eastman has never been stopped. That **** gets me mad when s**** like that happens. I wanted eastman to get another title shot! Alot of people thought that Castillo Vs Coralles 1 was a premature stoppage when i totally dissagree. Castillo was on ***** street and wasn't moving. Miranda landed that right hand when Eastman was moving back then another one but didn't inflict as much damage as the first punch. then landed a left upper cut that was flush but Eastman took it ok then that right uppercut that missed by Eastman moved his head which made it look like it landed. But watch the fight again. you will see how the ref trys to stop the fight after the left uppercut lands. Bull****! I hate that ref! lol

I was very impressed with his demolition of Eastman.

It was very impressive, but I wouldn't really call it a demolition. Those who say it was an early stoppage do have an argument. Still, I don't think Eastman would have turned it around. He hadn't had many bright moments up till then. Overall, I'm pleased that Miranda won the fight, since I think an Eastman-Abraham rematch would be redundant and unnecessary.

So you'd rather he let it go on and risk Eastman's life? I think he did a great job as ref and was obviously not biased, warning Miranda for a low blow and holding behind the neck long before the stoppage.

You are obviously a big Eastman fan. You have nothing to be ashamed about. Eastman has had a great career and is one of the toughest fighters I have seen. But that is also why this stoppage was good. Eastman has NEVER looked that hurt before. Any other boxer would have been down already, Eastman was giving it all to stay on his feet. The truth is, he wasn't going anywhere. He was stuck in that corner getting hit with power shot after power shot. When he tried to get out, Miranda knocked him right back in the corner. I would hate to have seen what would've happened if Eastman would've taken more abuse. Is there a chance he could've survied and come back and won the fight? Anything's possible, but there was a better chance he could've been killed! I think the ref ****** all night, but you can't blame him for stopping the fight.

Abraham won the fight. The only one who didn't think so was Eastman.


Impressive win for Miranda. I hope he comes to Germany now to face Abraham.

I think right now he is just a contender but do see a future for him in the MW division.

He's good. i like him, he has some technical flaws but i liked him, i like his aggression. This guy vs winky (yes winky is going to to be teh undisputed middleweight champ come june 17th) will be a great fight. i think he will put up a better fight than Tito did against winky. But for now i think they need to give him two solid middleweight's(like raymond joval etc) to see how he does before putting him against arthur abraham. I really think that he can knock out arthur abraham but he needs lil bit more experience imo. since he will be going to germany to fight arthur, he must KO arthur or hes not going to win. arthur has slightly better boxing skills and germany is known for bad decisions so i doubt he can win a decision in germany. he needs to knock out arthur and i think he will do that. he just needs more experience.
