Although I thought he faught well and beat a top contender it also looked to me like eastman was not on his best game. There were also many flaws I saw in mirandas style. He does not keep his hands up and drops them after punching. He does not know how to effectively get in on his man to deliver his power punches in close. He needs to learn how to set up and time his push to get inside. His footwork was weak and I think he could learn how to cut off the ring better. He lacks disipline with his punches as he would swing really wide on occasion. He also needs to learn how to go to the body and to throw body shot properly He does some things really well. He seems calm and composed while fighting. He has a patient streak. Hes got good hand speed and great power. As far as skills he is fairly sound although with a tendancy to drop his hands. He has a decent jab but needs to realize that the jab can be a very effective weapon. Eastman was able to hurt him which raises the question about his chin. I would hate to see him get hit by an Abraham or Taylor. His conditoning is phenominal you can tell that he takes boxing very very seriously and that alone will be one of his strongest attributes. I think we will also so a lot of heart from Miranda if he should get into a tough situation in the ring. All in all he is a solid fighter and will be now in the top ten. He did just beat one of the top middles in the world and I wish Miranda the best

i was impressed by the way miranda finished but that was about it, his habit of grabbing behind the head is gonna cost him points sooner or later, really looked like he has formed a real bad habit doing this, you could see him keep doing it throughout the fight even though the ref was on his ass about it. he just kept doing it and letting go very quickley even when miranda had eastman on the ropes to finish him some of the shots were borderline illegal cause he was grabbing and punching at him.

his power is pretty good, he just needs to learn to harness it and he needs to learn to win close rounds when hes not fighting very aggressive. when he fights passive he looks terrible, when he turns up the pressure he looke like a million bucks.

id also like to point out that at the end of round 6 or 7 i think miranda was wobbled by a very average left hook. it was a good punch but nothing special and it had him on wobbly legs right before the bell

i thought he was pretty good last night. i think that his defense could be tightened up, also he'd be more effective if he went to the body more instead of head hunting.

eastman didn't look to be himself last night either, i thought that he seemed tensed up and tight, maybe it was because Miranda is known for having a big punch?

either way Miranda did get wobbled three times in the fight, twice in one round and another time after that, but he made a good account for himself and got eastman hurt and eventually he got eastman out of there.

Miranda is going to be good, just needs some polishing, last night was a good victory for him though, eastman is a good name to have on your resume.

looks like eastman has been cursed by Hopkins. it seems fighters aren't the same after losing to B-Hop for some reason, ever since losing to Hopkins, Eastman has done nothing but lose his last few fights. but then again he's been fighting top opposition too, maybe Eastman should take tune ups between fights.

well besides being one of the darkest and ugliest brothers , only second to tarver. he didnt show me any real technical skils. just power with no defense along with a suspect chin.

I have to give him credit for being nonstop,I thought he showed no skills at first,but you see how his workrate paid off,even if it seemed unpolished.

I saw the fight last night, the dude has some pop but he also has a suspect chin. I was drunk last night, but from what I remember he was rocked a couple of times. I was impressed with the way he took out eastman though. He could make some noise in the middleweight division if he would work on his basic boxing skills instead of relying on power. needs to move his head more, and show more defensive skills period.

Miranda just has power thats it. Shows little skill. But can improve. I don't see him lasting long. Got rocked good twice by Eastman. IMO That stoppage was to early! Eastman takes hits he was good!!!!!!! but he should have took a knee. I was dissapointed that Miranda won! I'd rather watch Eastman fight he is better!
