pacquiao hit him because he wasn't sure he was down and marquez might have pulled him self up witht he ropes and thrown a punch, marquez tried to play off the hit while he was down, realized it wasn't working and swiftly proceeded to rise from the canvas
Pacquiao-Marquez I. Did Marquez quit? Should Pac have been DQ'd?

Marquez was either milking it as well but then realized Cortez was having nothing of it and sprang back up, or thought the fight was over at that point after being knocked down for the 3rd time. I go back and forth on that one.Comment

JMM being on his ass wasn't clear enough for him? It was a cheap shot.Comment

You're funny.
Pacquiao stopped hopping around and looked at him for a split second than gave him the lethal left. He knew he was down, he just got caught up in the moment. Be fair.
It still shocks me how no one said jack ****, not even JMM's corner said anything from what I remember of the broadcast..
You're trolling for no reason.Comment

He did two half hearted punches vs Pacquiao's full effort left but I think the real difference is that Griffin decided to milk it to the max and left the referee with no choice.
