I can see Canelo fighting Tapia next. Not ggg. He doesn't want any part of that

I'm already on record as predicting a Kirkland victory. In Hearns/Cuevas fashion.

Bardok and I have a bet so don't bother .....

I think if canelo fights kirkland for 8-10 rounds and then knocks kirkland out that would be great prep for golovkin. I actually think kirklands pressure is scarier than golovkins. In my opinion kirkland is more relentless and savage so if canelo can withstand kirklands pressure i'm pretty sure he can do the same with golovkin.

I agree with the 8-10rds, I think going 8-10 tuff rds with Kirkland would prepare anyone as much as they can for ggg considering theres no orthdox MW fighter with the right hand power of GGG besides Kirkland. But their styles do differ, GGG is more selective/accurate with his punches and waste less than James does making GGG scarier imo...

Excellent tune-up for a GGG fight. No excuse for not making the big and credible fight happen after this.

I can't imagine Kirkland doing much in this fight. The guy weighed over 200 pounds when he got the call and will have to drop to 155. That's one hell of a weight loss. He may make a fight out of it for a few rounds but I don't see him having the stamina to carry him to the later rounds.
