How on earth does the IBF have Frankie gavin so high, how did they have Kevin Bizier vs Jo Jo dan as the eliminator, it really is one corrupt organisation. Hearn clearly has ties with them.
Brook should step up with his opponents i agree. But lets not act as if Khans been facing killers lately either bcuz he should step up his comp also, the diffence between kell and khan is how each had gotten their rating at 147

I'm ok with this since he will be taking on a much bigger name right afterwards. Looks like Timmeh is coming for that belt soon as well.

Brooks is another British bum who will get exposed sooner rather than later just like his fellow countrymen (Hatton, Khan, Witter, Callzaghie, Frotch).

Brook has been in stay busy fights since his pro debut.

Anybody remember "this year will be my year". This is the same guy who was mandatory for one title or another for 4 years or so.

Devon Alexander is a top name, but of course now that Khan has smashed him he is a bum.

No, but they way you lot have been going on at Brook you'd think Khan has been dealing with stiff dangerous competition.
Are Collazo and Alexander really that great for Khan and his fans to be riding some high horse looking down on Brook for fighting his mado in Dan and a showcase fight in Gavin? Both need to step it up.

It's about what those fights meant at the time.

Calzaghe should get full credit for Jeff Lacy. It is another thing that he turned out to be a hype job, but at the time he was Tyson 2. Same with Maidana-Broner. It's only in retrospect we put down those wins.

Collazo beating Ortiz in hindsight looks mediocre or even less, but at the time it he was going to KO Khan back to Bolton all based on that. Yet, when Khan smashed him he was a bum. Look at my sign for an example.

Alexander is no doubt a great win. How many boxers take Lucas Matthysse as a come back opponent from a stoppage win? Then Maidana and Bailey. That is one hell of a run and all wins.

Chris Algieri would be the second best name on Kell's resume.

I'm not putting those wins down, both are good wins and decent names to have on a resume, but neither elevate him to this status that Khan and his followers have put him on.

I think you're getting carried away with those two wins tbh. As if beating those guys means you can rest on your laurels and turn down a great fight in favour of a run of the mill fight. He still has it to prove at welter just as much as Brook.

So now he's staying busy on the undercard of Anthony Joshua-Kevin Johnson card before he has a fight with a big name on July-August.

This would all have been avoided if Khan didn't duck him.
Brook vs gavin is the main event
