And Cotto is currently the WBC, lineal, RING middleweight champion so he is a valid target as long as he holds those titles. To me talking in absolutes like that is very silly because it is not always the case and you know it.

Longevity means something, so if he can stay on top of the division for 5 to 7 years he has something to brag about regardless of who he beats. I am cool waiting 5 or 7 years to judge him, are you?

I'm not having it "both ways" as you are putting it. NSB posters are the ones that were calling cotto a shot, blown up welterweight and that martinez is too much for him.
