K9 isn't a top rank fighter. Now go to sleep.
Ok. Maybe you know more than me of boxing or you know more of the sport than the Puerto Rican press that said that the true reason for Cotto to refuse the Canelo fight was that he refused the 10 millions offer to make the fight. And not talking about top fighters, tell me, with Golovkin and Canelo out of scene tell me what any viable option do I have to make a decent payperview more than Bradley. Or a decent name like K9 (not Rios for God's sake) to make a competitive fight?. Now if excuse me I'm going to sleep.

Would love to see Cotto and Alvarez if Cotto looks as good in his next fight as he did last year.

The only Cotto fights I'm intrigued by now are either Alvarez or Golovkin- and I really don't blame Cotto for staying away from GGG. He's really just too small and I think he would get absolutely thrashed.

Cotto's obviously taking it easy at the end of his career. Snubbing Arum means no fights with any of Top Rank's fighters. Signing with ROC Nation means no fights with any of Haymon's fighters. All that's left are a few much lesser fighters and the formidable GGG, whom Cotto will never face. Maybe he'll face Canelo, but it will likely bet @ a catch weight. He only meant to set a record in winning the MW belt. He has no intention of defending it against a top level MW. Ride off into the sunset on your pink pony, Cotto.

Middleweight world champion Miguel Cotto, one of boxing's biggest stars, will be back in the ring in June with a new promoter handling his fights, music mogul Jay Z's Roc Nation Sports.

What's the issue if he fights Canelo at a CW? Sergio won the title at 158, Cotto won it at 159 and Canelo fights at 155...

                Source on your Sergio quote?

His post fight MRI scans indicated no damage.

I never claimed to be an "expert" or anything like that so we can get out of the way. The reason why I stated that you didn't know what you were talking about and then I posted what actually happened is just that. You were informed wrong. Cotto has spoken himself about what happened with canelo. Its been posted several times on different threads. I never like the Rios or Bradley fight, those were bob arum options but you got mad cuz "cotto turned his back on top rank". F^ck old arum with those bs options. K9 is an ok fight, not for the belt unless if it was for K9's IBF strap. and its ok have a full rest.

Sergio Martinez has been taking some time off in an attempt to rehab his failed knee. But he did take a moment to give his thoughts on the May-Pac fight.

well i don't know where you are getting that info from. someone doesn't fly around the world visiting various doctors if they have healthy knees.

Here we go again. F^ck arum and his bradley & rios options. Looks like you are mad that those fights are not possible now. Gaby Penagaricano has already stated that al haymon has some fighters that he would like to get in the ring with cotto.

So according to you, "Cotto has no intention of defending it against a top level MW". So that means that geale isn't a "top level mw" and cotto should better defend it against; Jermaine Taylor, Sam Soliman, Tureano Johnson, Sergio Mora, Billy Joe Saunders or hassan ndam... you know cuz heiland wont probably cut it for you.
