The problem for Keith Thurman is that he is too dangerous for all these fighters who are buying into the 'Mayweather Lottery'. I would love to see a Super 6-like tournament arranged at 140-154 lb. as there's too many of them avoiding eachother in the hopes of preserving an 0 or a winning streak and getting the big payday against Floyd or Manny Pacquiao.

Having said that, what about Thurman vs. Juan Manuel Marquez? Very interesting fight, could see One Time being the first man to stop JMM.

The media is not calling them out with their BS, "So have you asked your daddy to make those fights for you, son?"

Always reminds me of SHO Jim Gray's post-fight interviews with Santa Clauz. Grey, with exasperated tone in his voice asks Santa Clauz why he keeps fighting noncompetitive matches. Santa Clauz's usual response, "I want Rigo, Frampton, etc." "Well, tell your management to do those fights for you, will ya?" Grey ended.

This is a very passive media. Everyone gets away with their nonsense.
Guys, just because Thurman is mentioning names, doesn't mean he's not trying to get the fights made. There's no reason for anybody get mad just because he mentioned some names. They can say whoever they want to fight all they want. It's freaking interview, so what do you expect? Stop trying to make it seem like he's not trying to get the fights made.

Would like to see brook Thurman... 2 undefeated ww title holders, the winner being in prime position for a big unification with May pac winner. That's how it should be, Khan can jog on with his lies, back tracking and general ***ery

The problem is Haymon with all these mismatches makes his fighters look like beyotches. And what makes it worse is Haymon refuses to grant interviews or show himself to the media he leaves his fighters out in the cold to explain and talk to the media about ducking fighters. This is where having a manager/promoter who is transparent and out in front of the media comes in handy. Otherwise you get Haymon fighters asked questions and then Haymon does something completely different making them look foolish.

Can't hate on the man for wanting the best. Thurman vs Bradley is a superb match up.

He turns 27 in a few weeks. He had a long amateur career and 25 pro fights. He's more then ready for big fights.
              I agree

but i am talking about from a business stand point

Haymon is going to build Thurmanns name before throwing him the bigger fights

We all know Khan will duck this fight, hopefully we get to see One Time in with Bradley or Brook this year.

Khan won't jeapordize his lucrative pays that he's chasing after by fighting Thurman. Brook won't jeapordize his tiltle reign so soon. Bradley has nothing to lose. He'll ball up for this fight. Should be good but Thurman will decision him.

Seems like a situation in which you have two promoters representing world champions, which one will let their guy travel to the others backyard?

I don't belive Haymon would even consider sending his guy to the UK, not even for a second, and while Kell has already gone to America to beat a highly touted champion, I don't think Hearn will be in a rush to do it again.

I think that's a promoter battle more than a battle between fighters.

I'm liking the sound of this guy, he just dominated Guerrero and now wants more big names, Maidana, Bradley or Brook would be incredible. F*** Khan we all know how that b**** rolls.
