The most likely option is that Khan was never told about this and his team, Al Haymon, or whoever denied it out of hand.

He spent a lot of that IFL interview saying how Haymon could get him any fight, well he needs an opponent, wants the Bradley fight so tell his advisor to make it happen.

That fight would do best on HBO I would imagine. Would that ever happen? No.
If Khan was signed to a UK promoter, this problem would never happen. And Algieri is already agreed. I get he's backtracking because of the huge backclash they've seen so might just get Broner instead.
I can't see a Khan-Bradley fight happen in 7-8 weeks. No way. Although
It's a fight that should happen, eliminator or not.

He wants a chinless danger fight, before he in his deluded mind gets the Mayweather vs Pacman winner later this year. Brook should be next, but we all know he hasn't got the confidence in himself to take the fight. Its clear as day.

I don't think he will take a Thurman/Maidana/Porter fight for the rest of his career. And especially not before facing Mayweather.

The Khan-Algieri fight is not official.. but now it's probably too late to do Khan-Bradley because Khan is committed on doing a fight in May.
It's gonna be Khan-Algieri or Khan-Broner.

I'm not even taking this guy seriously till he steps in with a fellow top 10 welterweight. The 4 guys he has been in with since Danny Garcia have been safe picks. Talking about the Alexander win as if it should secure him a fight with Mayweather is absolute nonsense, Devon hasn't been the same since Bradley mauled him.

An eliminator with Bradley would have been great because it could have gone to purse bid without Haymon and Arum needing to negotiate.
