If Lucas wants the fight to actually be made he has to position himself for it by winning titles. He wants this rematch bad, im one of the belief he was on his way to a ud if not for the freak eye closing(theres a vid somewhere showing it wasnt from a punch). Dannys wont be looking for him without any titles

So if it wasn't a punch then how did Matthysse face get broken by Garcia? By a thumb? Maybe a head butt? Garcia put the beats on him straight up. I hate excuses.

Lucas Matthysse hit Danny Garcia with every punch in the book and even knocked his mouth piece clean out of his mouth but Danny Garcia took it like a champ and dropped Matthysse with a vicious body punch. Rematch won't be no different only that Danny might beat him easier. Funny how on Boxingscene posters cry about giving guys rematches who got soundly beat in the first fight. Sounding like "ok but if you give him the rematch then he is going to ko you! You are scared to give him a rematch because you know he is going to knock you out" same thing was said in the build up to the first fight. Matthysse should focus on Provo but I think he should win because Provo just comes forward throwing punches and Matthysse hits hard enough to catch him with something coming in to humble him.

Oh ok. Well, he was only throwing single punches. He was a little hesistant cause of the eye.

No doubt that he hit Garcia a lot. Both showed a lot of toughness. But again, I dont think Garcia wants to go thru that again.

At the end of the day Garcia didn't need a rematch ro beat Lucas, he got the job done the first time.

the injured in lucas face came after the eye was swollen shot, once the eye was close that's when garcia started to land his left hand, not before. lucas made him miss a lot of those before.

Poor Matthysse, he really thought he was the "Machine". Terminator did that **** with one eye, stop making excuses. It was your fault not to protect your eye. Give Danny credit, he is the one that did the damage. You got terminated, move on. If you underestimate Prov you might end up being siberian tiger food.
