In that specific fight it was one dimensional due to the eye and depth perception being ****ed up. But in no way, overall, is Matthysse a 1 dimensional fighter...
EDIT: What are you smoking? Matthysse is far from a 1 handed/1 punch fighter.
LMAO
Dude is one dimensional,,, he has one way to win,,, nothing wrong with that..
worked for winky wright, worked for kelly pavlik, and a host of other fighters...
I never said lucas was a one handed fighter... where did i ever say that...
I agree with you.... It was close,,,, so was manny-morales 1, manny-marquez 2
manny-augie.......
And i made no claims that garcia is some well rounded fighter... but he is a little more versatile than lucas.. Danny has showed the ability to fight off his back foot and be a matador..
Lucas maybe one dimensional but he is great at that one dimensional..
If lucas is versatile he should have no problem handling an even more one dimensional ruslan
Well Garcia certainly has more speed, foot and hand. I wouldn't be surprised if Matthysse defeated Garcia in a rematch. I don't think Garcia wants to go through Matthysse again though. I doubt Garcia would have ever fought Matthysse if it wasn't mandated.
You have to laugh because, Daniel dropped Lucas. So all this, he felt my punch stuff is funny. Danny lost a mouthpiece in that fight. That was Lucas's best shot.

He can brawl and he can box. How is that one dimensional? Please explain that to me. You compared him to a young Pacquiao?
Rematches are extremely rare in the Haymon camp. I don't know how Arum does it with ease. If it's not the fighter, it's Haymon. If not Haymon, it's the fighter. In many cases, it's both.
He prefers in-house fights, and doesnt have a lot of options in most cases.
Lucas Matthysse hit Danny Garcia with every punch in the book and even knocked his mouth piece clean out of his mouth but Danny Garcia took it like a champ and dropped Matthysse with a vicious body punch. Rematch won't be no different only that Danny might beat him easier. Funny how on Boxingscene posters cry about giving guys rematches who got soundly beat in the first fight. Sounding like "ok but if you give him the rematch then he is going to ko you! You are scared to give him a rematch because you know he is going to knock you out" same thing was said in the build up to the first fight. Matthysse should focus on Provo but I think he should win because Provo just comes forward throwing punches and Matthysse hits hard enough to catch him with something coming in to humble him.
