The responses in this thread are why Golovkin's people should make this happen if possible. He can actually shut people up when he blasts Lara out, and I have no doubt he would. There aren't many fights you can say that about with GGG.

I didn't say he would lose. Lara has the style to show that GGG isn't a boxing god like they seem to think.

Lara asks for it because he knows it won't happen. Haymon would never allow him to fight on HBO so it makes it easy to shoot off his mouth about it.

lara is not invincible and i will give the edge to ggg , but lara is easily better than anyone on gggs resume, and he keeps calling him out, and even know this fight is not easy to make ggg should at least try for someone like lara before he tries the willie monroes of the world...

People would be shocked at how easily Lara gets destroyed. Golovkin's team should definitely make it happen.

The only interesting thing about that fight is that Lara would be the first boxer fighting off the back foot against Golovkin, not solely because of GGG's power but because this is his style. Fighters like Murray - and most of the GGG opponents in the last two years - usually did not fight this way. They were not trying to outbox Golovkin, they were uncomfortable and went into survival mode, which made their chances to be competitive even slimmer. Golovkin - Monroe will be interesting in that regard.

I like Lara but he'd lose a decision to GGG if he survived. I'll give him credit for having the balls to be willing to face him though.

Lara's a professional fighter, and a particularly desperate one at that. He believes he can beat anyone. He's wrong in this case, but I respect his guts and bravado.

Kudos to Lara for calling him out, but I feel that GGG KO's him inside 7 rounds. quote me on that.

You said GGG fans dont want the fight. I responded saying "you can't be serious."

Every GGG fan knows Lara gets ****ing embarassed. I never accused you of saying that GGG would lose.
